Your Warm Spot Counseling

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just in need of a safe place to sort through life’s challenges — that’s what Your Warm Spot is for. This is a space where your emotions are valid, your story matters, and healing happens gently, one step at a time.

Depression

When everything feels heavy, even getting through the day can feel impossible. We’ll work together to understand the roots of your sadness, find new meaning, and reconnect with a sense of purpose and hope.

Anxiety

Constant worry, overthinking, or feeling like your mind won’t quiet down — anxiety can be exhausting. I help you explore the source of your anxious patterns and learn calming, empowering strategies to navigate life with more ease.

Obsessive-Compulsive Patterns (OCD)

Intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors can feel isolating and hard to explain. I create a space where you don’t have to hide. We’ll work to understand your patterns and reduce their impact on your life.

Substance Use

If substances have become a way to cope with emotional pain, stress, or trauma, I offer compassionate, nonjudgmental support to explore healthier paths — including harm reduction or abstinence-based work, based on your goals.

Trauma

Whether your trauma is recent or long past, its effects can linger in ways that are hard to name. I provide trauma-informed care that allows you to feel safe, process your experience, and move forward gently.

Stress Management

Daily stress — from work, relationships, family, or personal expectations — can pile up until it feels unbearable. I’ll help you build healthier boundaries, manage overwhelm, and restore a sense of balance in your life.

What services do you provide?

You can book a session directly through our secure online scheduling system. If you prefer, you can also reach out by phone or email. I will reply within 24 hours to confirm the available slot and guide you through the next steps.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes! I provide a 15-minute free phone or video consultation for new clients. This is a chance to ask questions, share what you’re looking for in counseling, and see if we feel like a good fit before scheduling a full session.

How can I schedule an appointment?

You’re welcome to text or call to request an appointment if that’s easier for you. We respond to texts during business hours. You may write to us in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese — whatever language feels most comfortable.

What can I expect in the first session?

The first session is a full 50-minute appointment where we’ll talk in more detail about your story, what brought you to counseling, and the goals you’d like to work toward. We’ll also go over confidentiality, answer any initial questions, and begin shaping a plan for your counseling journey.

Is counseling confidential?

Yes. Everything you share in sessions is confidential, with a few exceptions required by law (such as concerns of harm to yourself, others, or child/elder abuse).

When and how do I pay for sessions?

Payment is required at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to secure your slot. You’ll receive an invoice with simple online payment options.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee.

Do you work with diverse backgrounds?

Absolutely. I welcome clients from all walks of life, including those from different cultural, linguistic, and spiritual backgrounds, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community. I provide counseling in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Japanese. Respect for your identity, values, and lived experience is at the heart of my work.

You’re welcome here — exactly as you are.
